Handcrafted jewelry with lots of color

My shop started with an epiphany I had at a handmade jewelry craft show. It was my “a ha” moment and I thought “I would love to do this”. The next day I went to a craft store and bought a few strands of beads and thought I was ready to start making jewelry. Lol, little did I know I needed all kinds of things like clasps, stringing wire, tools to construct the jewelry and tons of money for supplies. It was a long and expensive process starting my shop and now I’m so passionate about making jewelry that I can’t imagine ever not doing it. Inspiration for colors in my jewelry comes from everything I see, nature, sunsets, flowers and I even saw a car painted with color changing matte paint that changed from black to green to purple as I passed it one day and I couldn’t wait to get home and make a black, green and purple necklace. My mind had already put the necklace together in my head before I got home. I actually dream about jewelry often too.
I love creating my own beads out of polymer clay and I also like hand painting charms. I pick and dry flowers each Spring and summer to put in tiny glass globes and jars that I turn into necklaces. I love dreaming up new ways to make jewelry.
